Seems like a solid Friday crowd. A friend who lives in Tulsa is planning to head out there if the weather is good tomorrow.

Good friend is a member there and is out there today and sending pics. Decent crowd. They flipped the nines and turned one par-5 into a 4. I played there last summer, and will probably try to catch some on TV for the first time.

Great finish here. Cam went way low. Currently tied at - 17 with Grace. DJ 1 back.

And DJ joins the party in the playoff.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching LIV over the PGAT tour today. DJ and Cam both look like they are in great form going into next weekend.

So bad at marketing

It is nearly impossible to navigate the LIV website. I was trying to look at the results and kept getting to a ticket information page.

Apparently, multiple CW stations cut to other content during the playoff.

Had a feeling that might happen because CW still hasn't figured out some of that stuff when it goes outside the window so I watched it on the CW App. Great finish for DJ to come back after the triple bogey.

I saw/heard it advertised via radio, facebook, instagram, twitter for the past 2 weeks at minimum.

So we are comparing the Byron Nelson to a LIV event? Also sounds like they showed everything but the winner.

Well that was the two options this weekend, so I guess the answer is yes.

I didn't watch any LIV but what I did see of that Byron Nelson tourney was like watching paint dry.

I watched LIV for the first time this weekend just because I had played the course. Golf shots are golf shots, so I guess more is better than less.

I did find it a little distracting trying to figure out their leaderboard when it went to a particular player, although I mostly got the hang of it eventually. I guess if I watch more I would get used to it.

Not too crazy about the shotgun start aspect. Varner was flirting with 59. Had he shot it, he would have finished on #13 in front of 10's of people probably. That takes away some of the drama for me, for whatever reason.

Team aspect holds no interest for me.

I've watched a bit of the last few tournaments and I agree that their pacing during the broadcast is pretty great. Lots of golf shots and not a lot of fluff or talk. The scoreboard is growing on me as well. I personally like the shotgun starts, especially for the first round as it evens the playing field.

I wish on the final day they would go away from shotgun start and do split tees. I'd think they could get the 16 groups off in less than 90 minutes and still get the action on the course.

I like the shotgun aspect b/c more golfers and more golf shots are going on up to the very end. When we have to watch the leaders walk all the way up the fairway and then still cut to commerical... it kills me

I wouldn't mind seeing the final 2 groups each starting on 1 as they do now, and the 2 groups ahead of them each starting on 10.

High chance 2 or more out of those 4 groups will be the ones competing for the win and could possibly have action coming up on both 9 and 18 at the same time to decide it.

Was anyone watching when the CW Cut away to normal programming and missed the finish? Did they give you any warning or did it just switch?

Just switched. They also did it on the previous tournament but then came back to golf (in Houston at least). But you can watch the tourney on their app so that's what I did on Sunday. Just streamed it to my tv
