Looking for recommendations of golf instructors in the San Antonio or Austin area.

I have seen a handful of Instructors in San Antonio and have seen some short term success, but most of them have tried to give the quick fix.

I'm looking for someone that I can see on a continual a basis that knows the golf swing well and can give me drills specific to my needs.

Preferably someone that at least utilizes video so when you leave a lesson you don't forget everything you went over after a month.

I live in San Antonio but work in Austin often, so someone in either city would be fine.

I've finally got a setup at my house that will allow me to practice daily, so I'm very committed to putting in the work to get good.

Look up Cory Pieper at ROK Golf at 4040 S Lamar Blvd. It's maybe 15 minutes from downtown.

It's a great place to practice, as it is all TrackMan-driven. For $250/month you can get an hour a day, so if you are in Austin regularly, it can be a good to great deal (you might drop by for an hour on your way out of town back to San Antonio).

There are three ways to get lessons:
(1) Standard 1-hour sessions with any of their 3 coaches (they are all good).
(2) A full swing capture and analysis with swing plate and Gears technology
(3) Regular tips from the coaches when you are in there practicing as a member are included in the price.

I spent two months in there practically every day when I was in over the holidays. All three coaches helped me materially with one aspect or another of my long and short games, all via 5-10 minute tips included in the membership. I think at the end of the summer, when I'm back for a bit, I may go do the full Gears swing capture experience.
