I broke the shaft on my Titleist 915D3 today when hitting balls. Should I reshaft it or just bite the bullet and buy a new driver? I don't play much anymore so I don't follow what's hot in the club market any longer. Since I don't play a ton any more I don't want to spend a ton if a new driver is the answer.

I'm also out of town this week and getting ready to play Prairie Dunes with a buddy at the end of the week so availability is key.

I would just get the shaft for now given you don't play much. The difference between that club and a new driver isn't worth the $600+ IMO for someone that plays only once in a while.

Enjoy PD, it is in great shape except for a few areas off the edge of the course where the new irrigation system is getting installed. What day are you playing?

Hopefully Friday if the weather cooperates. We're in town from KC for space camp. My buddy is a member and has always told me he'd take me out. I've eaten there and swam there a bunch, I just havent had the chance to play.

You don't have to buy a brand new driver. You can get a used driver from around 2020 (Taylromade SIM, Titleist TS series) for less than $200 that would be a lot better than a 915 from 2014.

Cosmosphere camps are great for the kids. Make sure your buddy takes you to the gold (tips) tee on the third hole. Best view on the course and a fun tee shot from up there.
