I'm needing some recommendations on how much to tip my Caddie I'll be using during my Ireland golf trip in September. I can't seem to get a handle on an appropriate amount. I would appreciate any advice. I don't know if I will end up with Senior or Junior Caddies, but that doesn't bother me one bit. I want to be respectful of the caddie lugging my bag farther then the course intended.

This seems right. I always just ask in the pro shop. They know most of us don't usually use caddies and just want some good advice. I've always felt comfortable with what I've been told.

I usually tip a little more than recommended if it's a junior trying hard, or if it's a great caddie that I had a lot of fun with.

I would argue to discuss within your own playing group and make sure everyone stays consistent. You will get some good and some bad.

That's definitely on the very high side of tips for a caddy. I've paid one guy 120 but he was the best caddy I've ever had....he was a full time LPGA caddy working at Kingsbarns.

Are these numbers dollars, pounds, or euros?

Just for reference:

Ballybunion Senior Caddie fee: 85 euros

I did 50-60 euros. I had a senior caddie each place except Ballybunion. The junior I tipped 30 and honestly he didn't do much except carry my bag. I clubbed myself and read my putts that day.
