Was able to snag 4 tix in the lottery for Saturday next year. Anyone else going?

Anyone tried getting in the some rounds the week of The Open? Is it futile? We'll likely make a week of it, whether playing golf or just sightseeing Scotland/Ireland

There are six or seven golf courses in Fife. If you want to play and don't care about "name", you shouldn't have any issues playing somewhere.

It will be harder to get on because it's so close but Prestwick would be my #1 choice

I was also able to win tickets in the lottery as well. Unfortunately, my damn brother in law decided to propose to his gf and it looks like he will be having a wedding around the same time next year....idiot

It is time to start a heavy whispering campaign that, if he really loved his bride-to-be, then a truly romantic wedding could only be held in [name of resort reasonably close to Royal Troon].

I haven't bought them yet. I believe tomm is the last day to purchase before I lose access to purchase. I think they are around $300 a piece? thursday thru saturday are the only tickets still available for me to purchase.

Good point. My problem is I'm not tech savvy and tickets do not arrive until like two weeks before the tournament. I dont want to get stuck with $1000 worth of tickets and not be able to sell them.
