I want to hear yalls opinions on the best golf app.

Personally, I love all the features on 18 birdies.

We talkin free or paid? I usually use either arccos caddie or garmin golf. Got a garmin watch, but its not a golf watch, it still tells me distance to front/center/back of green.

I just use the USGA GHIN app. It cost $40 a year to add the gps feature to see and play the courses. It also tracks fairways and greens hit plus putts if you want to track that. Once the round is complete I just submit the score and watch my handicap go up or down.

I use the Grint. Has similar social features to 18 birdies. I pay for pro version that lets you keep/analyze detailed stats (GIR,Fairways, putts, etc). Connected to USGA GHIN so scores on Grint automatically upload to handicap at end of day.

I use Shot Scope now (no subscription fees after you buy a device), but The Grint was the best phone app for golf I ever used. Tried almost all of them, including 18 Birdies.

My only thing is that I now have 67 rounds on 18 birdies.

Should I just bite the bullet and switch to grint?

We use Golf Logix and like it.

I use the Grint and USGA GHIN apps. Both are ok for what I need. The Grint is pretty cool if you pay for the subscription but I let it lapse.

I second this. If it had automatic shot tracking like my Garmin S62 with sensors, I'd ditch the Garmin and use the Apple Watch version of the Grint. Arrcos is triple the price of the Grint, Garmin you have to just buy the watch and sensors.

I've been thinking about arccos since offered free trial with new clubs, but haven't looked into Garmin sensors at all. New homework for this evening!

Arrcos was like $9/mo after the trial. Lots of apps cheaper. Garmin app is a bit weaker than most.

As noted above, Shot Scope is $0 per month after you buy the tags. Might want to compare with Arccos and see which one fits your needs.

i love Arcoss, but it just kills your phone battery... full charge to about 30% after your round

what are you trying to track

I want something that is easy to use. Tracks all my shots easily, is fairly inexpensive and tracks my handicap

Haven't seen that all in one place yet.

Arrcos, pricey sub.
Garmin, with sensors, good auto shot tracking, free app, but leaves some to be desired in the app.
Grint, love the analytics, but No auto shot tracking.

I use arccos. I bought the sensors from someone on here and then paid for the year. I needed a new putter sensor and they sent it out free of charge. I have the sensor tracker and it works with an Apple Watch or just use the phone. All ways work well so I'm happy with it.

I like that it makes club recommendations and has gps features and then occasionally I get insight emails of things to work on based of recent rounds

I've heard this but I don't have this problem. I turn off other apps and turn on battery saver. Last round I finished the round with about 70% battery
