LIV Golf announced Thursday that more than half of its 14 tournaments would air live on Fox or FS1, while select rounds will be broadcast on either FS2, Fox Business Network or the Fox Sports App. Every round will be streamed on the Fox Sports App and LIV Golf+, the circuit said.

When fox first got the nfl the big complaint was the score box on the screen was too big and too busy. Not sure fox is the right group to calm down all the mess liv had going on with their telecast.

LIV is probably paying Fox to broadcast it. No downside for them to broadcast a golf tournament in the middle of the night from Hong Kong.

When fox had the US Open (I think) a handful of years back they were the first with innovative shotlink in the broadcast, graphics on the green, etc that everyone is using now. I think they will do a great job with LIV and continue to be innovative with broadcasting.

As I recall, they also terminated the contract early because the production cost exceeded the return. So, it'll be interesting to see how much they're willing to put into this considering LIV's poor ratings to date (or if LIV is the one who's paying the production costs). But getting on a legit channel is definitely a step in the right direction for LIV. It'll also be interesting to see how their ratings compare to the Tour's.

Fox getting paid to carry this; not sure ratings are going to be any appreciable better.
