Simply not true


He had a decently long stretch at OWGR #5. But the wins have never been there. Not much different than say Tony Finau.

If it weren't for the marketing machine and the ads, we'd look back on his career very differently.

Fowler was solid/consistent for a while. They hype around him never matched the results, but he made lots of money and has a smoke show wife, so life could be worse.

Wow, not sure if you looked up their stats before the comparison but Finau/Rickie is very on point. Both 6 PGAT wins, both finish runner up 4% of the time and top 10 23/24% of the time.

Some guys strive for their legacy in the game. He's made more money than he'll ever need and seems more interested in his family and enjoying life not related to golf now. I'm not going to judge him on that.

and to the comment that he's never actually been any good. Pretty sure he had a year where he finished runner up in every major or something like. I'd take that and let you tell me I suck and be quite content.
