After a 7 under in the first round the Aggies shot a 16 under in the second round today to take the lead in the tournament with a team score of 23 under.

Freshman Vanessa Borovilos is in 1st place individually at 10 under whilst Sophomore Cayetana Fernandez is tied for 2nd place at 8 under.

Mia Nixon and Lauren Nguyen are tied for 37th and Kynadie Adams is tied for 45th.

They are kicking butt like we did yesterday. This Spring is where we will really miss Adela. She had to make the huge personal choice last Fall to go pro or not and chose the pro tour. We have some huge guns coming in next year but we do have some great players who can play lights out. We saw that in the second round yesterday. Coach did say in the press release that today would be difficult but I guess Arkansas did not see it!

Note that Arkansas IS ranked #1 for a reason.
