How did you get tickets through the event or where?
Does the pro shop have all the usual Masters gear for sale?
Sell beer?
1. They do a lottery just like The Masters. Pretty sure that getting tickets to the first two rounds is easy and maybe even free.
2. Yes. However when I went a couple years ago only one of the two big shops was open and there were a TON of people in there. There were some rain delays where they had everyone leave for a few hours so maybe that made it worse, but there was never a time of day I checked it out when it wasn't a 30 minute wait to get in. If I was doing it again, I would make a huge effort to be among the very first on the property and knock it out immediately.
3. Yes, concessions are all the same as The Masters.
The Masters is amazing and the energy and the roars coming from everywhere and not knowing what's going on because you don't have your phone is incredible. One of the coolest experiences I've ever had watching sports. But when it comes to walking the property and seeing the course, ANWA is better and it's not close.
If you offered me ANWA tickets or Masters practice round tickets, I would take the ANWA with zero hesitation.
