Arccos is great. Really helps you dial in what is working and what is not. Humble brag I shot 66 (-6) this past weekend and it told me I lost 1.0 strokes putting. Didn't believe it but it made sense. Humble brag gets humbled.

If you're buying a new club for less than $150, enjoy paying ongoing subscription fees after 1 year, and don't have a smartphone, maybe so.

Chipping is godawful, but taking penalties off the tee box is crushing my scores.

I am taking ~4-5 a round, which is effectively 10 shots.

Honest self-assessment... I don't practice. I just show up and expect things to go my way. There was a time when I was pretty good - routinely dipped into the 70's and hardly ever shot more than 81-82-83. Now, I play less, but care less. I still go out and make lots of pars, a couple birdies and bogeys - but the doubles and triples are showing up more and more - because I'm not practicing and working on improvement. Maybe, I'll have a resurgence as a senior player, haha.

I think it's one area that isn't firing on a given round. I could be driving the ball great, great irons shots, but short game bad. Mix the combination up in any order and that is usually where I am at.
