At least my most confident call was the good one.

I will definitely be off on the winning score. I don't see -7 as realistic today.

Not a Rory fan in the slightest.

When he's successful he can't find a camera and a mic fast enough to yap into. He embraced being the torch bearer for the PGA and couldn't get enough attention.

But when he struggles he runs and ducks and likes to play the victim to big bad media.

He's insufferable

I agree. He's probably the least likable guy out there for me. He's very uninteresting and a total B in the way he goes about being uninteresting.

Not a Rory fan at all but golf, like all sports, needs bad guys and characters. After guys like Phil, Reed and Bryson went to LIV, the PGA was left mostly with players that have no real personality in the course. Rory is one of the few that wears his emotions on his sleeves.

Example, Scottie is an amazing golfer but just about zero personality. Who would want to watch him if he was the 50th ranked golfer in the world.

The golfer that plays the best generally wins the US Open. Despite what Texags says, there is some luck involved.

I get the talking point, but hitting part of the target and getting punished has always been objectively dumb to me. Same with hitting a fairway and landing in a divot.

And sure, sometimes hitting the pin helps.
