Anyone played recently? In good shape?

Taking my dad out there on Saturday weather permitting. Never played it.

Haven't played recently so I can't comment on the condition but it's a great layout.

Also, the entire course is Zoysia, greens and all. Interesting experience.

It also seems to drain very well, but with all the rain you're not going to see it as fiery as it can be… it can get wild out there when it's firm… in a fun way.

greens had been punched (probably a 3 weeks before) so there was a slight issue with bouncing and they were substantially slower than usual.

fairways, boxes, rough - as good a shape as anywhere in houston.

Servers in the bar - better shape than torso girl

Is it? I don't recall that at all and it seems like something I'd take note of. Admittedly, it's probably been more than a year since I've played it.

Zeon Zoysia on the course and Lazer on the greens at the time it was built it was the only course in the world with Lazer Zoysia greens, not sure if that's still the case. But what a great course.

I will say the surfaces can be bumpy.

HP was SOGGY saturday morning, but understandable with all of the rain we had in the week leading up (Range was also closed). Course was still fun but the greens were a touch bumpy & slow due to the punching.

Servers were definitely solid and know to make a good transfusion both in the bar and on the course.

Can't wait to go back and play it when it's dried out and the greens are back to their slick ways.

Is there still a thought this place will go fully private? I know you can join HP and AP as a member but both are still open to public play.
