Headed that way in several weeks. Staying in Angel Fire so current plan is to play there. For those that have how is it?

Any other courses within an hour or so worth playing or that are better than the one in AF?

ETA: damn title. Angel Fire NOT Angel Park although I have played there in Vegas and it was fun!

We're heading out next Friday to Red River. Thinking about taking my 12 year old to Taos to play.

Angel fire is a fun mountain course. I always enjoy playing it. Can hit the ball a mile with the elevation. Taos country club is a great course more of links style with brush everywhere. Both are worth playing if you can. Taos climate can be much warmer than Angel Fire so heads up on that.

Taos Country Club is a fun links style track. Angel Fire has fantastic high altitude golf. Don't sleep on Valley Escondido between the two. It's an old school 9 hole walking course in between the mountains that takes you back to golf in the 80s! Also think it's $10 for kids under 15. A bit of a dog track but that's part of the charm!
