Everyone raves about Golftech, Sellingers and Stripe Show both here and out in the regular online world.

Golftech is $75 for 45 minutes which is super reasonable price wise. Sellingers is $125 for 1.25 hours and Stripe Show is $200 for 1.25 hours.

Has anyone had a putter fitting with these guys? With no real frame of reference, I can't tell if 45 minutes is enough time to go through the analysis and recommendations.

People pay to have someone tell them what putter to use?

The big thing is knowing if you have an arc with your swing (and how much if so) or if you are straight back and forward. If you know that, you can find out which putters are built for that swing type.

I've been in golf tech when someone was getting a putter fitting. I wouldn't hesitate to go there. They've fit me for driver, irons, and wedges.

Been for fittings for woods and irons/wedges. Not for a putter. I have a few, with different type offsets and none at all. Not married to one in particular. They all are in rotation, depending on my tendency at the time. I am not a great golfer, but can hold my own with most crowds, but having a putter or three was one club my dad, who was scratch for a couple decades, said to have. He had a few, but the only one I kept after he passed was one he had written his name on a piece of paper and taped over it on the shaft when he had it re-gripped. An old brass Birds-eye. Waiting on when I peak again after my 12 year hiatus (hopefully low 80's), and I will take it out for a round in his name.

Edit: Apologies to OP, got lost in the moment. Putting is very subjective, and the most minute of change in repetition can change many rounds. My method is one I have, your mileage may vary. I choose to not fight it and change putters as my putt "swing" varies at my old age.

Got get fit, and enjoy it. You'd probably beat me at putting!
