Cypress course is the only one open right now. Tradition's greens are getting worked on for a month or two, from what I hear.

Cypress course is solid. Over the years they've lost a TON of trees, making the course far easier (and far more dangerous with balls flying from everywhere).

It's never in great shape. It's never in terrible shape.

Overall, I like the course and it's a pretty great "value" course, all things considered.

Poot nailed it

We typically only play the Traditions but Cypress is a good value. Not the most pristine conditions but never a goat track. You will run into your fair share of denim out on the course and you may have longer than normal rounds.

But for what you pay and what you get it's a good value. I actually really like the layout. Good mix of challenging holes with a good amount of getable holes to make it fun.

The mango cold towels they set out on the tee boxes are AMAZING!!!

Anyone played Traditions recently since they reopened with the renovated greens?

Think they've only been reopened for a week or so but was curious since we have a Sunday morning tee time.

Buddy played there yesterday and said they're pretty rough. Maybe after a week of regular maintenance they'll be better?

When did they change from Kids play free.

That was a pretty sweet deal.

Just a heads up for anyone playing or thinking about playing Traditions course.

Greens were fine. They were a little shaggy and slow but not too bumpy and definitely not unplayable. They're better than they were pre reno and once they completely take they should roll nice.

Overall the course was fantastic. Rough was grown up to the point of you may be losing a couple balls if you're not watching closely.

You can tell that no play lately has helped everywhere.
