Scotty from a similar spot made an unbelievable par. That slope up to that green is nasty.

Agree. And they can only show the cool looking clubhouse so many times before that gets old. PGAT's new CEO has got to force the networks to change the way they present the product. Doesn't have to be major, but watching golf tournaments on NBC and CBS are lifeless most of the time.

I liked the sarcastic fist pump Scottie had when his par putt slipped by on 14. I know the feeling all too well.

And that was right after he slammed his club down in the sand. Grumpy Scottie is pretty entertaining.

make the tour championship a match play. it's the best form of golf there is and is blasphemy there isn't an event on tour anymore

From what the TV production could do, just present the shots/angles differently for this tournament. It would make it feel different. I'm not skilled in this arena but the overhead shots of the guys putting on greens alone could be changed to feature the hole and surroundings more.

NBC has implemented the side panel view of the driver over the course this week which I like. More things like that.

For style, yeah I'd like a match play tournament of some sort.

Another way to add juice to a potential match play situation would be ranked with choices. NASCAR now lets guys choose which lane they want to start in on restarts based on their order.

Imagine the top half choosing who they want to play out of the bottom half each round. That would add so much juice to the event. You'd start seeing real emotion.

That also allows the top golfer(s) of the year to keep an advantage.

yeah not sure what he was doing in the 5-10 minutes it took for Tommy to get setup on 8. Apparently nothing.

And he's seems to have added a Harmon-like inability to get over the ball and pull the trigger.
