It has been a month since the last tourney so they might have played more than the usual number of qualifying rounds at home to decide the list.

"Texas A&M begins match play with 36 holes Tuesday, taking on New Mexico at 8:30 a.m. and New Mexico State at 1:00 p.m. The Maroon & White also play 18 holes against Arizona in the final match Wednesday. Tuesday's action is set to be broadcast 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Golf Channel, while Wednesday's match will be televised 3:30-6:30 p.m."

"All matches will be five versus five with first team to three points earning the victory. The tournament is a round robin format with all three programs guaranteed to play each other."

Ags win 4-1 in the morning round

Aggies win first round 4-1, versus New Mexico. They next play New Mexico State. Same players in the second round except Sophomore Vanessa is playing instead of Freshman Brynn.

Arizona also won 4-1.

The Aggie press release says the second round is today whilst the tourney site says tomorrow. Will find out soon.

Vanessa is up by one in the second round so it IS today.

Second round on golf channel now. Yen trying to hold on to lead up 1 with 2 to play…she's lost the last 2 though

Aggies win second round 4-1. In the lead now but Arizona still playing and has a great chance to take the lead or tie it. We play them tomorrow so certainly best to have a lead beforehand!

Arizona went 5-0 in the second round today to take the lead over the Aggies, 9-8. We will have to score 3.5 or more tomorrow to win the tourney but we have a great team, all capable of having excellent rounds, so it is definitely possible !!

BTHO Arizona !!!

Seems crazy that we could beat Arizona tomorrow and go 3-0 but they would win the tourney.

Yea, match play is weird. Not a fan of it but that's the way it is. Of course, if we had gone 5-0 both rounds we would be in the driver's seat but ... that's golf. Everyone has an off day occasionally but overall we did really well. In large part this is because of our excellent Freshman class.

We took a guys trip there in August 2022. Played Paako, Twin Warriors, Sandia, Black Mesa, and the UNM course. We had a great time on that trip. Also had a great VRBO for that one.

A&M is trailing Arizona by 2 with 3 more matches remaiining. A&M is leading in two of the matches and tied in the other.

There are only two matches left and we are up in one and tied in the other

The last three ladies have really turned things around but i believe we've already lost the overall tournament

If we win the last two matches we tie at 11 points each. And I assume we would win since we beat them. But have to win both

Good point.

Doesn't look like they'll pull this off, but it's good match play experience for these young guns.

A tough round for some of the girls but we did not get blown away and that's great. As mentioned, some great experience for them AND three Freshmen saw action over the three rounds. They will be a huge part of the team for four years and every tournament is just another learning experience.

Next tourney starts Sunday, October 19. In San Marcos. Looking forward to it !!
