In Pecos on a work trip and made it over to the course for 18 this morning. First time playing it and the course was in great shape even though they are currently reseeding. The fairways are narrow and the greens are small compared to pretty much every other course I have played, which was a fun challenge. Not much to do out here in West Texas, but if you find yourself out this way, it was a good course to play.

The course in Fort Stockton is pretty good too.

Last time I was out that way there is a 9 hole in Rankin that was in great shape. Four or five sets of tees

Monahans has a course too. Additionally, they built a new park behind the event center that has a putting green.

When did you last play the course in Rankin? Since the school district bought the course the ISD has spent $16M, I am told, renovating and improving the course and that it is now a great 9 hole course. AND they hired away the pro or assistant pro from Midland CC, Terry Lester, who grew up in Rankin and is a really good golfer.
