Headed to Destin/Fort Walton area in March and I'm looking to get a round in. Any course recommendations?

The Raven at San Destin & Kelly Plantation are both close and in good shape.

If you are willing to drive about 45 minutes, Windswept Dunes is a really fun play - wide open fairways and huge greens.

Played Regatta Bay last July and it was pretty nice.

If you belong to a private club, have them call Camp Creek to see if they can get you on. I have played it twice and its a great track

Windswept. Challenging and long but very fun course. Skip all the resort course BS.

If you'd like I can try and get you on at Santa Rosa Beach and CC on 30A. Gorgeous track, very well maintained. Have a few connections there. I did get another Ag on last summer while they were in town.

If not, The Raven is legit. My son has played a few National events on property, as well as The Links. We did a father son scramble one of the years at Baytowne.

Yep, the Sandestin courses are fun, but other than Raven they're nothing special. (Burnt Pine is private/Resort)

1A:Windswept-$$$
1B: Raven-$$$
2A: Regatta Bay- $$$
2B: Kelly Plantation- $$$
Indian Bayou-$$$
Emerald Bay (good value if you can get a "Hot Deal"-$$
Baytowne (Sandestin)-$$
Links (Sandestin)-$$

Windswept definitely feels different than the rest. It's got a little terrain, bigger corridors, bigger greens, etc.

I've played 5 or 6 courses in the area and the one I keep going back to when we visit that general area is Windswept Dunes. So I'm another vote for WD.

But I've heard great things about Camp Creek too.

Driven in from 30A to play the Sandestin courses. Think we played Raven on the last trip.

All of the above are public to my knowledge. Burnt Pine is private/resort only, isn't it? I think that would be the best of the bunch, but I've never gotten to play it.
