Quarry in san antonio is a cool experience, but dont make the mistake we made in playing it in the middle of summer. Back 9 in the quarry feels like a broiler

Lady Bird is probably my favorite muni in Tex. Grew up walking the course when it was just 9 holes. Since then, they put in another nine and built a new clubhouse. For a muni it is really nice. There are some really cool holes…..like a par 3 on a cliff about 100 feet higher than the tee box which is a blind shot. It is not typical muni cheap, but well worth the reprieve if you want a low-key budget round.

I don't know why exactly but it's one of my favorites too. Not because it's amazing but it's always a fun time.

I played Lady Bird this last weekend. It's a very enjoyable round. For a Gulf-coaster (Houston), I thought it was on a really cool piece of property.

Kind of has a more dramatic Gus Wortham feel (without the trains and traffic). I did get my tower buzzed by a prop plane fighting crosswinds coming in for a landing at the airport, which was interesting.
