Water was leaking out of the bottom, so I pulled off the back panel and checked the water pump. Water gushed out of it and probably the tub. So I figure it was the pump. I replaced it and the same issue happened again.

I'm assuming this is a motherboard issue? Any thoughts?

Top loader. This would be the second board I replace, if I go that route.

I had the exact same issue with a different model LG top load that was only 4 years old. I didn't have time for a repair call so I bought a brand new (non-LG) machine. Sure was frustrating to not see any issue in the pump/ drain area!

I appreciate it. I checked those out as well but I've seen the leak coming from the pump. Once I stopped it and took off one of the hoses, water spilled out because it was backed up. For whatever reason, the pump isn't doing its job.

I believe these are known for that rubber boot gasket, cracking getting a hole in it

Would that lead to the pump not running?
