Has anyone worked with Base Power to get the batteries installed and use them as their provider? I'm a bit in the country and lose power 5-8 times a year so a whole home battery would be ideal.

Rates look decent plus a monthly fee. Install isn't too bad and they do disclose a removal fee if before 5 years.

It looks cool. Quick point though. The battery in the base plan is 25kw and probably lithium so you can use 80% or about 20kw. If you are running any 220v loads, you will be using at least 3kw per hour. This means you have 7 hours. Now, if you are using just lights and bare minimum in appliances, you may get 20-25 hours.

Any reason you're set on batteries? Wouldn't a diesel or Nat gas generator be more cost effective and provide more power?
