Your pics look great. We are not really in growing temps yet - even in Central TX. Remember, you need 60s-80s consistently to start growing. Right now, we get a week of it and then the next week is cooler. Once we get to those temps (probably early to mid-May for you) your grass will take off. Don't worry about keeping kids off it and don't mow mow until you don't see much of the compost/soil. The material will go where it needs to.ChoppinDs40 said:

You should be fine, but the manure in your topdressing is causing the "caking". You may want to break that up a little.ABATTBQ11 said:
