This set is on special buy. Cross posted to OB for completeness.

I know how many feel about Ryobi, but as a full time "dude that uses tools" these have served me well in both residential and commercial capacities. I actually have a few Ryobi that are well past 25 years old. Are they as 'strong' as my Milwaukee or revered as Dewalt? Probably not, but they do work and they use the same exact batteries that they always have which is nice.

These are NOT the high performance batteries, but they are good. If you don't have a tool to utilize the fancier ones, then it doesn't matter anyway. I am a Milwaukee guy all the way, but they have let me down a time or two and my Ryobi have picked up the slack occasionally. Plus, some tools, like soldering iron and tire inflator are just damn nice to have and they don't cost much.

Anyway, if anyone needs some batteries, I stumbled on these and it looks like they are on discount.

Thanks for posting this Jason. I have just enough of the odd Ryobi tools that I don't use real often but when I do they are life savers and I grabbed two of these battery bundles.

Yeah, it kind of sucks because I have been trying to phase out my ryobi tools, but they don't die, and also, I have a work light I really like. Once I started browsing and bought 3 HP batteries, then I found a free leaf blower to go with it, and then I figured the discounted work light kit was nice for working on my trucks, and then I found a couple other tools that I can use since I have new batteries.
