Does anyone or would anyone be willing to share some discount codes provided to Trade partners with retailers, specifically Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, etc?

We've worked with some designers in the past that get 20% off everything when ordered with their code. They are no longer in business (moved cross country).

Has anyone accessed these types of codes in the past and be willing to share?

I know through friends that the CB program requires the ID to log in to their account and place the order, it's not a promo code that you enter via checkout. Others like Herman Miller you have to call and place your order with your rep for the good discounts. I've done this through said friends but reimbursed them cash/check.

Sorry that doesn't help much.

Probably nobody will care and some will dogpile me, but it's a bit unethical to use another company's trade discounts. It's also kinda lying to claim you're that company when you're clearly not

The discounts a designer's license gives them is akin to wholesale ettiquette, i.e. retailers have VERY FEW returns - if any allowed at all - back to the selling wholeseller = why the discount, as well as the license strongly suggests they know what they are buying from the get-go ... and not fickle buyers.

The 20% news was most welcome, as past furniture rarely purchased was so generous in Aggieland.

Gotta say most times locally a better deal comes shopping sales ala Shop Ashley's New Year's Sale and other s' discounts posted in ads + returns are more warmly processed.

I used to hand out a when to shop what list but I see Google AI has something equal/better on line if searching
"when to shop sales month by month"
Gotta draw since me got no grammar MasterArch '76
