I'm looking for some help/guidance. Here is the info:

LG fridge bought in 2021
Model: LFXS26596S/02
Serial # 012KRBY24373

The bottom freezer ice maker is having issues with clumping.
I've defrosted & cleaned the fridge & freezer. The freezer has been set all the way down to -4 and it was still clumping.

From what I can tell, the ice maker fills up fine but when it goes to dump the ice the cubes are not all the way solid. So it ends up dumping wet ice that causes it to clump.

How should I go about fixing this?

NOT an appliance repairman soooo please check again these common sources
  • leaky seals have been compromised as old, torn, paper/stick/obstruction
  • water feed/inlet copper tube too close to a heat source/motor/etc. = hot/warm water into cubicles
  • ice maker's too-warm neighbor
  • ice cycle frequency setting is too quick
Gotta draw since me got no grammar MasterArch '76

I have an LG (not sure if it's the same model) but make sure the "energy saver" & "sabbath" modes are OFF. Those modes completely turns off the freezer during part of the day for several hours & I noticed it causes similar ice clumping after it slightly melts.
