I am in need of a woodworker that would be able to take an existing Amish style chair and modifying it to meet the height requirement of the top of chair to the top of table.

This chair would be for my son who is 33 years old and still uses his old chair which has the look of a high chair. I want the new chair to look like the other dinning room chairs and w/ a small step integrated into the framework that allows my son to up,and sit on chair.

I will gladly send pictures to email to help with explaining the concept.

Thank you in advance.

shoot me an email at grams wood works at gee mail dot com. I am probably too busy to take on any work, but I could give you a good idea of feasibility and how much work is involved.

Google AI suggesed a couple of shops near Aggieland, so try that

We also have
https://furniturestoresusa.com/amish-furniture-generations-bryan-tx
but there's no ad nor word on the street that do repairs except their own products soooo
another option is to SELL to an antique store then BUY a forever chair from these guys.

Head over heels over the above products is a friend whose Dad was an Architect so spent his life in the most intricant construction projects Aggieland has ever seen = Expert & darn hard to impress.
Gotta draw since me got no grammar MasterArch '76

I will engage all suggestion and invitation to email. Sorry for the delay on my end. Struggling with some medical challenges and lose situational awareness.

Thanks for your understanding.
