I have a Trane model 4TTB4061E1000CA. My condenser motor sounds like it is going bad. Current motor model is a 1/4 HP 825 RPM genteq 5KCP39MFAC15AS.

The nameplate on the actual AC unit calls for 1/3 HP. I found the following specs in technical bulletin for my unit, but seems almost impossible to find motor with these specs:

OUTDOOR FAN PROPELLER
DIA. (IN.) - NO. USED 27.6 - 1
TYPE DRIVE - NO. SPEEDS DIRECT - 1
CFM @ 0.0 IN. W.G. 4 4730
NO. MOTORS - HP 1 - 1/3
MOTOR SPEED R.P.M. 850
VOLTS/PH/HZ 200/230/1/60
F.L. AMPS 2.80

Google AI says I need Trane motor P/N MOT18625, which is a 1/4 HP 825 RPM motor.

Anyone that can help with what I should buy? I plan on swapping it out myself.

Id put in what is there and currently working. It's available online and not disco, so why not just get that? Manufcaturer, I imagine, like car makers, make running changes all the time and Id imagine stickers on some things don't match up. Either way, I bet both will be functionally equivalent provided everything wires in the same and shafts are all the same size, etc.

Or buy it on amazon with free returns and if it sucks, send it back to CHYna.

Kind of where my head was at. I ordered one that matched my existing motor's specs not long after I made my original post. Like you said I can always return it. It does appear that is what is recommended for my unit based on limited research.
