Anybody bern using AI to get a visual idea of what you want to do? Color, design, cost estimates, etc?
I'm not good at visualizing how something is going to look, so I take a picture snd upload it on AI and tell it what I'd like to do and ask for a rendering. AI prints out its recommended design with a cost estimate.

I did this to design the landscaping for the east side of the house.

I used to to visualize different paint schemes for my garage doors.

I used it to help design our master bathroom.

AI also gives cost estimates and functionality.

( as a side note, we just planned a driving trip to the Jersey Shore this summer complete with route options, hotel stays, restaurants and fun stops complete with cost estimates. )

Good for you! I also love how it digs, even deeper than Google of old to find details to getRdone.

That said, in my field it is still learning and taking advice that might be as poor as radio ads.
I know my doctors find it stupid, even non comprehensive (although poor people are forced into such medical care advice) and certainly judged to be not face-face personal with a full medical history. Trust is low.

My story, since you asked and now punished for that:
Continual golf putting problems .....
Search AI for easiest putter to getRdone =
L.A.B. DF3 so eBay got me a deal .....
Still not as productive as other past putters, one even fitted by a Ping rep.
Google HEY what's up with this (other than the nut behind the wheel)?
The missses & problems reported = you bought one too short ... ref. height or wrist to floor = min. shaft length
I guess AI forgot to TELL me THAT. Now what?
Shaft extender, new grip = now taller .....
Stay tuned for real world results
Just back from putting greens ... the most holes made in a loooong time even IF still getting to know it all over again. Currently looks like a future marriage.

Ad for lifestyle tailored residential architecture, forever retirement new house, your Architect can-do all that color 3D as a team. These are always bigger smiles, more thank you notes, even Christmas cards that spec/tract.houses produced. These custom designs also give back if forced to move/sell ala Asking Price if not a bidding war. One doctor's house recently sold when moving his practive out of town, netting him $100k for each of the 7 years he lived in it .... ~ doubling his investment.

Maybe AI will match that someday? If so, more golf for me.
Gotta draw since me got no grammar MasterArch '76

My mother. I get Chat GPT images every other day with ideas for closing in a shop we have.

I use it to analyze projects on the fly or get recs for products that I need. For example, I was replacing a patio light with a ceiling fan and there was a hanger bar between the joists that was holding the outlet box. I took pics and ran them through ChatGPT to get a rec for what to buy and it gave me a direct link to a hanger bar that was rated for ceiling fan use outdoors at Home Depot.

Cost is hard because it's usually old data or super general, it's been way off on big projects. a trip ai can look up plane tickets and cost of museums or whatever easier.
