Hoping for some tips and tricks for this current project.

My gf and I built a cinder block outdoor table that holds our outdoor pizza oven. We were not sure if it was a long term solution when first building it, so we left it pretty rustic.

We've decided that it works well, so we want to polish it up a bit by adding a stucco (or stucco type finish) and then painting a cream color. I'm getting mixed messages from online videos on which product to use and technique? I've seen some videos as simple as pressure wash and then apply a mortar mix with a wooden trowel.

Included pic is what we are going for!

This is what you're wanting. Has the color embedded in it and limits cracking due to elastomeric nature. We used this on our house including outdoor kitchen, and it's been great.

They show the layer configuration for "Application to Concrete Surfaces" and seems fairly simple.
