My barber is moving and I am looking for a new barbershop that I can go to on a regular basis. Any recommendations?

Cadillac Drive Barbershop @ Blanco and Cadillac. Old-school barber shop, nothing fancy, straight-razor to shave your neck. $15.

The Parlour. NW Military and Wurzbach, by the nice HEB.

Regular haircut comes with a neck shave, a hot towel, and a cold beer.

Los Barbaros on San Pedro. Ask for Drew. Great haircut and cheaper than anyone else you will find for that quality of work. Trust me

If you want a 12 dollar chop, go for it.

If you like appointment only and top of the line customer service, you pay extra.

i liked diesel barbershop but it's just too steep for a regular haircut...

i usually used greatclips if i'm slumming it, but just used sportclips @ huebner oaks and got the MVP it was legit. they did a great job with what they had to work with.

Little hole in the wall barber shop attached to the Alamo Heights Beauty Shop on Broadway across the street from the Alamo Heights City Hall. Get Carl Symons to cut your hair and Mr. Tucker to shine your shoes. LIsten to Joey ramble on about stuff. Great haircut, great atmosphere, great jokes/stories, old time, 'real guys' place. Trust me. Once you are a regular you are family.

ditto wbbq74. Daryl cuts my hair there in the back at Alamo Heights. none of that ***gotry that you get at sport clips, great clips or supercuts.

you get an old school LICENSED BARBER to cut your hair. it is what men should do. go to barbershop, get your hur cut, shoes hined, drink coffee and hang out with real people. Will go there until I'm 6 feet under.

Love those guys. Carl has been cutting my hair for 15 years. Joey is good people and I am amazed that Tucker is still at it - he is pushing 90.

Harvey sold out to Joey and Carl in the early 2000's. They Carl & Joey kept the barber shop at the Blanco / West Ave shopping center for a long time but the rent got too high. They shut it down and moved to Alamo Heights about 5 years ago or so.
