The only financial institution I've ever had. Opened my account in 4th grade (1978).

Yep I just switched to them from Wells Fargo Bank. I actually did that yesterday.

I have 'em. I like 'em. But I'm a pretty low-maintenance banking customer.

What got me to switch a few years ago was the lack of fees and the ability to deposit checks via the app. But I'd assume just about every bank has that by now.

Used a credit union years ago when I lived in Allen, until they sold out to a bank.

Used Wells Fargo while in Aggieland, still keep a small amount in a checking account as a fall back.

Switched to RBFCU a few years ago. Better vehicle loan rates than just about anyone, any assessed fees usually are smaller at credit unions versus banks (in my experience), just seem to get better all around service. I know this does not seem quantifiable, but it is my experience.

I've been a member for close to 50 years.

In the last couple of years, have even used them for commercial lending.

I don't have a account with them but over the last 20 years alway seem to have "happened" to used them for more loans then any other bank/credit union out there. Always seem to have a lower interest rate then the other guy. I think every single vehicle loan the past 20 years was with them except for one. I remember buying a truck with them in 1995 and it was literally almost a handshake type of deal. Almost like old school banking. Obviously it's not like that anymore.

I actually use Security Service just because they have many more locations and like any other credit unions almost zero fees. I can't remember the last time I paid a banking fee with Security Service. I just use RBFCU for all my loans. Also with Security Service ATM you can use any Randolph Brooks for no fee (and vice versa)

But.......... My wife and I refinanced our home two months ago and surprisingly we got a lower interest rate with Security Service. They offered 3.5 where Randolph Brooks wanted 3.75. That was really surprising. Usually it's the other way around.

I've used both randolf and security for loans. I'm currently with Wells Fargo, but I'll probably switch to one this year
