Goodnight Irene, have you talked to your friend since? I see that BCSO is offering a $5,000 reward. I cannot believe someone hasn't come forward yet - especially someone that the a-hole could have been visiting. Driving around the area, I see the reward signs posted, but they're really not very visible and are easy to mistake for the usual "lost pet" signs. It would help if they could make bigger signs and weather-proof them so they don't wilt, fade, etc. Just a suggestion. I hope the scumbag is found soon

I haven't heard any new updates. And I missed the news conference although it sounded like they just extended the reward time period. I guess that's good and bad.

I'm sorry to use you as a go-between, but is there any link to a fundraiser or bank account to increase the reward (or is that recommended by bcso)? I usually frown upon gofundme-type stuff, but this is something I can get behind if it's created.

I don't mind. Although it seems I 'm very limited in what I know. I looked on the bexar.org website and couldn't find anything. I'm pretty sure the reward is through them. I will text this evening and see if my friend knows anything. They did set up a scholarship fund at Southwest High School in her honor. I will post the info in the near future if anyone is interested in helping that way.

I appreciate everyones concerns, I know the family does too.
