My wife and I just moved to New Braunfels and are interested to find out if anyone on here has recommendations about the Catholic Churches in New Braunfels.

Mission of Divine Mercy is a monastery about 15 miles from 35 towards Canyon Lake. Pretty cool place, may be worth doing once a month or so if you're averse to driving. One of the monks there says the Latin Mass.

SS Peter and Paul is in NB proper. It's kind of goofball at Mass (e.g. Oompah music during Oktoberfest, LOL) but have gone there several times; lots of families, kids, has a school, etc. just not my cup of tea liturgically.

What's the closest one to you?

St. Peter and Paul is just about it unless you want to drive or go to Spnish Mass. Services tend to drag out and the priests are pretty dry. We've been spending more and more Sunday's at Gruene United Methodist as time goes on. The one positive I'll give St.Peter&Paul is they have very good youth programs if you have kids
