An Aggie sibling of mine lives in San Antonio, apparently northwest SA. I know nothing of that area.
But they have dogs and say their current veterinarian is not good and that they need to get a new one.

Any recommendations, preferably in the northwest area?

He sold the practice but still works

My daughter works at Castle Hills VCA when she is on break from school. We have used Deerfield for a long time too, Dr. Hey is great, good Ag and plenty of others there also.

Good guy.

I used to be a veterinary sales rep and this guy was one of my favorites. Dr Hubenak at The Ark Animal Hospital is a great guy as well.

As far as Northwest SA goes Town and Country Veterinary Hospital would be a great choice

I use Dr. Wright at VCA Leon Springs. They are very helpful, and cheerful. They go out of their way to explain to you what and why they do what they do instead of just charging you without reason. My sister also works there in the front. (Dana) Give her a call and tell her I sent ya!

We take ours to Babcock North next to the HEB on Babcock near Heubner.

I've used Town North with Dr. Mac and he's a good Ag. He's expensive, but thorough. For the last 3 years however, we have been using Drs. Ezell and Kirby at AH Pet Clinic. Reasonable and inexpensive.
