Where's the best? Been to a couple here, one off of San Pedro, another off I-10. Any recommendations? Craving it for tonight.

I know it's a little late for you, but maybe for the next time you're in the mood, I recommend Bonzai in New Braunfels on Walnut. It's about a quarter mile west of I35 in the shopping center with At Home, across the street from HEB. Also Shogun in the Creekside area next to Buc-ee's is pretty good, and little nicer, but more expensive.

I live in Schertz, so I tend to go into New Braunfels in my leisure time more than San Antonio.

We just took my son to bonsai and we were pretty happy. Husband and I went back to try sushi based on a rec from our neighbor and we have been back 2x since. Great service and great sushi. Hibachi was very entertaining but it's your basic hibachi food. I actually prefer their sushi over a-tan.

My parents lived in Japan for a few years and one of the only things my mom liked over there was Yakisoba. She says that Bonzai's comes really close to what she had in Japan, so that's what she gets. I typically get filet mignon, medium rare, or fish lightly cooked on the hibachi and a sushi roll.

Also, if you're planning to go at peak times, they do take reservations.
