I will be attending a bachelor party in San antonio this weekend. We are staying on the riverwalk and would prefer to keep most of our activities in walking distance. No plans yet so I am definitely looking for suggestions I can bring to the group.

The bachelor really likes playing poker so if there is somewhere nearby that could host us for a poker game that would be great. I have already talked to clicks billiards and they have poker tables available for use but it's out of the way and the reviews online are not very good.

Hopefully I get some leads here on where we should go to have a good time. Gentlemens clubs are a possibility but there are definitely some in the group whose significant others would rather that not be one of our activities. TIA for any suggestions.

Negative knowledge on places that host poker nights. There are plenty of touristy bars on the river walk though. If you want something a little more upscale take a five minute Uber to Blue Star or the Pearl. Strip clubs are all out on some portion of 410. I haven't been but from what I have been told you are better off at twin peaks.

River Walk is a bit lame for a Batchelor party.

I am well aware. You don't even know the worst of it, the matching bachelorette party will be staying with us in the same hotel.

This is a problem. I assume it can't be fixed, so the best thing is to Uber away from the river walk.

Get a driver to take you into south town. Eat BBQ at the smoke shack, beers at the Friendly Spot, more beers at the Filling Station Tap Room, then maybe get a ride back to the river walk and find a different bachelorette party to finish the night dancing/drinking with.
