Craigslist. Many offer free wood, but usually you have to go cut down one of their trees.

I troll my neighborhood when brush collection rolls around. Then I go fil up my truck with oak. Sometimes I have to bust out the chainsaw, sometimes not.

If you ever drive thru Liberty hill my mom has a literal **** ton of oak that needs to be cut up and hauled off. Oak wilt got some great trees.
