There's an El Chaparral at 1604 & Redland (just east of 281 & 1604).

If you want to sit outside La Hacienda de los Barrios is at the same exit, but head north on Redland and it will be on your left.

Anyone tried that cabrito restaurant on Henderson Pass? I've been meaning to check it out next time I'm in that area.

That's my go to for breakfast or grabbing tacos to go. Decent, cheap and fast. Their tacos are huge btw. The Barbacoa is legit and the make all of their tortillas.

Disown him. It's the only way to restore your good (Humorous User)name.

I mean, I don't even hate Taco Bell. Some of their stuff isn't bad in a pinch. But choosing it over the myriad of excellent options in SA? That's criminal, and should be punished accordingly.

Guajillo's is one of my personal favorites but it's Mexican (not Texmex). Their salsa is legit.

Went to Guajillo's a couple months ago based on this forum. Holy crap it was outstanding! I knew it was gonna be good since every vehicle in the parking lot was a contractor truck and I was not disappointed. Definitely agree it ain't TexMex.

I will have to add Guajillo's to the rotation. Had some delicious spinach enchiladas at Tito's on South Alamo today. For enchiladas, Tito's is hard to beat.

OK. This is how I judge taco joints. ( It might no be fair, but it's by far my favorite taco when done well) I love Eric's Truck on Perrin-Beitel. May favorite in town.

West Ave. Tacos... Al Pastor is served Friday and Saturday. Greatness, and definitely not Tex-Mex.
