I just recently moved to SA and am looking for a new vet. I had a wonderful (and money conscious) vet in my previous city, but it is not reasonable to drive back and forth. Thanks!

North Central area.

During breaks from A&M, my daughter works at Castle Hills Companion Animal Hospital. Vets are great and have a good staff, although none are from A&M. We have used Deerfield Animal Hospital for a long time also, Dr Hey is very good, bunch of Aggies in that clinic.

Community Pet Health Center - Ben Kyzar, DVM. We take our two dogs there, and are very happy with it. He owns the clinic, not part of a chain. Located on O'Connor, just inside Loop 1604.

We take our mini schnauzer to Dr. Ehrlund at Heritage Vet on Culebra. She's an excellent vet with a super bedside demeanor, an Aggie, and an Aggie mom. Top notch facility and great staff as well.
