I'm in New Braunfels but willing to go into SA or anywhere else around this area for a good GI doctor. Anyone have a recommendation for a great doctor? I am not looking at TDDC or any of the doctors there so there's that. Thanks

Didnt like the physicians at TDDC? Lots of physicians there to just write them off. Or maybe I misunderstood your comment about them.

I have a couple physician friends and they recommended Marek, Cluley, or Pearce. But they are all at TDDC

I did not like the doctor I saw or how the consult went and then my mom saw another doc there several months later and pretty much had the same experience I had.

Yea it was a huge group and everyone pretty much gets herded in andnout and schedule for a colonoscopy but not until 6 months out. I'm pretty sure I saw Marek but do t really remember bc I spoke with him for less than 2 minutes before I was whisked away to set up an appt for a colonoscopy and they didn't even have any of my information correct. My mom saw another one there and was pretty much treated the same way but they gave her meds she couldn't take due to current problems and scheduled her for a colonoscopy as well when she can't have one for at least 12 months due to a current medical condition and surgery she recently had. So that was it for me and their practice. I will look into the other recommendation , thank y'all both very much.
