Looking for opinions on the best restaurants on the RiverWalk. We are foodies, so we prefer good, unique places, not chains.

Not on the riverwalk bc foodies would never eat the crap on the riverwalk

5 minute walk from riverwalk in Southtown or the Pearl

I understand. I prefer not to eat on the RiverWalk, but others want to be there so I am looking for a way to make us all happy.

The basement of the Esquire Tavern has a very good selection of appetizers, nothing like what they serve upstairs. The bar selection is very extensive there also. Hidden gem.

If you buy drinks upstairs at the tavern you can't take it to the basement. Would have to buy drinks downstairs.
