This is so nice!!! My parents used to rent a house for our whole family that was river frontage at Commanche Crossing. My parents both passed away and we stopped going in 2013 but the whole fam is ready to start up again. I'm sending a link to my siblings with your house.

At the house where we used to stay, we usually drove to whatever that spot is that is higher than Commanche Crossing and then floated to the house. Or, if the river was really flowing, we could put in at the house and go until Neal's.

This is a dumb question but where would someone go to put in to float? Same place I'm talking about?

Thanks for asking. The Frio has looked so good all summer, but of course we could use some rain......especially if we keep having these 100 degree days! But it is always at least 5-10 degrees cooler up here in the hill country so that is always worth the trip!
