I figured this was just about the best place to ask this...

Grew up in SA, miss it. I was there a while back and eating at MI Tierra and the mariachis were around my table.

Now, I'm a gringo but have always liked that music growing up there. This song they were singing was so beautiful it just about brought me to tears. I have no idea what it was or what it was about and I should have asked someone but didn't.

I've bought MI Tierra's CDs hoping I'd hear it but haven't. Slow song with a solo, I guess.

I know it's a long shot but how can I find out? Or does anyone know a popular song they could have been singing?

I feel like an idiot even asking this so take it easy on me. I'm well into my stash of Blood and Honey cerveza and feeling nostalgic for San Antonio
