We went to the Cavalier's River Parade last night and had a great time. This was my first Fiesta event in 20+ years as we just moved back to SA last summer. The family had never been to anything Fiesta related. Wife is from Plano and has no idea what Fiesta is all about. Trying to bring her and the kids into the SA culture.

What other events are coming up for this Fiesta that are appropriate for kids (6 & 8)?

Headed to NIOSA tonight. It's kid friendly (-ish) up until around 7 or 8 when it usually gets packed.

Events this year are very limited. I'm still pissed they didn't bother with King William. Oh well.

Beethoven's is doing stuff most of the week. There's a Charro event on the 27th too. It's going to be hotter than hell, but whatever.

If anyone does NIOSA, the new ticketing system works great, the wrist band, not so much.

Order a pre-loaded one for pick up at the door online. Much easier.
