Looking for a good spot to stay for the wife and I. End of December timeframe. Taking a long over due mommy and daddy trip away from the kids.

Looking for a nice cabin or inn to stay at where it's quiet and homey. Lots of wine and lots of romance on the menu.

Hope it's not too late to make a recommendation. It's been 20 years but my wife and I had our 10th at Rose Hill Manor in Stonewall. Really liked it but my comments are clearly dated. I'd say it is at least worth checking out.

My three favorite wineries are Lost Draw Cellars, William-Chris (Aggie owned), and Ab Astris. Lost Draw is in town, Ab Astris is in Stonewall, and William-Chris is in Hye.
