Hi! My husband is on TexAgs 24/7, he is local to the San Antonio/ New Braunfels area and his birthday is coming up. He loves sports- Aggies and Houston sports, fishing, woodworking, golfing, etc. Basically anything active and outdoors, he loves.

I cannot think of what to get him for his birthday that I haven't already gotten him. I think he has every article of Aggie apparel, fancy fishing equipment/ accessories, same with golf. I know the Rockets are in town soon so I was planning on getting him good seats to the game.

Budget: probably less than $1000, but I can be flexible.

He's literally on this site all the time, so I hope he doesn't see it or know it is me. I created an account just to get advice from his peers. He checks TexAgs before he commits to any purchase.

Is he on the Outdoor Board? There is a woodworker who posts there, agrams - he makes really cool stuff. I don't think you can send private messages but you could ask for him over there. He makes furniture - I think also smaller things like boxes.

A cold, wade fishing guided trip for huge trout in Baffin Bay would be a pretty awesome gift in my mind. There are plenty of guides that specialize in that.

My wife frequently forgets my birthday and never gets a gift, even after the fact when she has forgotten.

You can get him a membership here. He can shoot on his own or with friends or at events. Could even get him a few lessons if he is just starting out and has an interest in it.

Also, being an old fart, I tell my wife not to get me anything. Usually she complies or it's just something small like snacks or candy. I tend to get what I want, when I want it for my interests, so my needs are pretty minor.
