Went there today, very cool building and ambience. Felt like I was in the florida keys but still had a Texas vibe. That being said the food was good but for the prices was definitely not worth it. Very bougie mexican food and bbq fusion, high dollar. Ran about $150 for two people with a tip.

Side note: they kept playing 80s bar music that was throwing me off but that's my own personal gripe

No, they had parking in the back. Very overpriced. They need to drop it to around 80-100$

I rarely venture to the Pearl, it's been a while I usually just eat at the food hall

Want to try it out, more-so just due to the history of the building and the effort they put into moving it there.

Really interesting read on it here:

Quote:

With the amount of time and money Goldsbury's team has poured into the building (the firm won't divulge the dollar figure, but it's easily in the tens of millions), the restaurant needs to haul in vast sums to justify the investment with a handsome profitand soon. So Silver Ventures spent more money and erected a second building, a limestone structure called the Rock House, next door, as well as an expansive patio with custom faux bois planters designed by local artist Rene Romero and custom barbecue pits by Lockhart's Mill Scale Metalworks. Between those spaces and the two floors of the original building, Carriqui will seat almost four hundred people at a time.
