I've had a cpa from out of town do my taxes the past few years but they just retired. Does anyone have a recommendation for a local CPA?

I have a pretty straightforward tax return so may just do it myself but I have enjoyed having a professional look it over just to be safe since mine was very affordable.

I use Fred Flores and I've been happy with his service. My taxes are pretty simple so I don't really know how good he is with complex stuff. Near McAllister park

Contact Tom Wright at RSM. He's a partner there. RSM is formerly the firm known as Paget stradaman or my dad was an engagement partner for 39 years. I trust Tom explicitly and have contacted him multiple times for advice.

2nd for Tom Wright. He doesn't do our personal taxes but we interact with him regularly as several of our contractor clients use Tom. He's about as smart as they come.

We've been using Joe Davis at Anderson Johns and Yao and he is fantastic. He's an Aggie and used to practice law before moving into public accounting.

Not the cheapest but his attention to detail is great and provides excellent service.
